WARFRAME on MSI GL62M

Specs :

Windows 10 Home
Nvidia GeForce GTX1050 4GB GDDR5
intel core i5-7300hq
8GB DDR4 RAM
1TB HDD

THE LAPTOP ITSELF :
MSI GL62M is pretty much a good laptop for those that are on a tight budget. The GTX1050 definitely hits the sweet spot between price and performance. You can get these specs for as low as $700 (depends on where you live). Therefore, it is only fitting that we try to run a game that fits for those that spent money on the laptop.

THE GAME :
For those who didn't know, Warframe is a free to play game on PC. Before you decide that this game would be full of ads and shady microtransactions like ordinary free games, here me out. There is a good reason Warframe had a very positive review on Steam. Unlike EA, Digital Extreme managed to find a nice and non-exploitative way of applying microstransactions. You can acquire everything in game without spending a single dollar. Provided you are determined to grind for it. The graphics are amazing. For a free to play game, you wouldn't expect the graphic to be this beautiful. It also has a certain unique look that you can't explain in words. You can also play with up to three other players should you find it hard to complete a certain mission. Though this game had a sprint button, you'll probably spend more time sliding and gliding like a lunatic. Just run, press crouch and then hit jump. You'll see. With free updates and events, Warframe is not something you would want to miss.

The minimum requirements for the game are :

Windows XP SP 3 or higher
Intel Core 2Duo e6400 or AMD Athlon x64
2GB of RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT or ATI Radeon HD 3600
DirectX 9c
25GB space
Broadband internet connection

As you might have guessed, the GL62M's GTX1050 and 8GB RAM could easily destroy this game. You'll play this game on max settings with your internet connection being the only possible bottleneck. Thanks to MSI's boost fan, thermals are stable. Provided you don't care about the extremely loud fans. Hey, it's a $700 laptop. You'll probably want use a headset

Fan noise aside, Warframe is one of the most beautiful games out there and the laptop really shows it despite it being an entry gaming level laptop. Seeing your armor reflects the sun. Put a fire mod on your melee weapon and watch the flames on your weapon rise.
