Warranty in Europe and water block for the 4080 SUPER X TRIO.

Hi, I have a couple of questions about the GPU. Do you know if MSI in Europe voids the warranty for changing the original air cooler to a water block? Do they have warranty stickers? Of course, I would keep the original cooler in case I need to process the warranty.

Do the 4080 16G GAMING X TRIO and 4080 SUPER 16G GAMING X TRIO models have the same PCB? I can't find any pictures of the SUPER model disassembled, and I'm not sure if the same water blocks work for both models. Thanks.

Changing the stock cooler will void the warranty. Yes, they have warranty stickers. I can't currently get the UK warranty page to load to double check.

Hello, thank you for responding. The warranty would be for MSI Spain; I'm not sure if it's the same as in the United Kingdom. I'm sorry that the warranty is lost by removing the air cooler; in that case, I won't purchase an MSI GPU. What I don't understand is why the warranty is voided if the GPU is sent to MSI with its original cooler.
Sorry for posting the duplicate thread, the forum was malfunctioning.

This actually has little to do with MSI but is down to your local government's rules and regulations on warranties
Please check with the Purchase location or local MSI office for warranty terms
Warranty terms will be the about same for every brand of GPU you could buy in your region

That URL doesn't make it very clear whether it allows installing a water block, as you can return the graphics card to RMA with its original heatsink even if you have installed a water block. I asked MSI Spain, but they didn't respond.

EVGA did allow installing a water block without issues, but they no longer manufacture Nvidia graphics cards.
