warranty issue regarding hardware problem (Hinge)

Recently I faced a problem in my Katana gf66 hinge issue (on right side) suddenly when i open my laptop the plastic cover popup (there were not any physical damages that made by my self) Will I able to claim my warranty from my authorized seller? (Still, its under the warranty period)
