WASD lights are permanently on, irritating to work. How can I switch off. I see I can F8 for total keyboard dim, but just want wasd out? Help please

WASD lights are permanently on, irritating to work. How can I switch off. I see I can F8 for total keyboard dim, but just want wasd out? Help please
 
From my experience, the F-keys only handle global brightness, not per-key lighting. The permanent WASD glow is almost always a “gaming mode” profile. I’d look for a keyboard or system utility installed by the manufacturer and see if there’s an option to disable zone lighting or switch to a static profile. Once I changed profiles, the WASD keys stopped being highlighted entirely.
