Weird Noise Left Side

This is still happening and it has been over a month. It is really annoying and I wish MSI would fix it.

Just wanted to say I have the same exact problem, will contact msi, just did an EC reset to fix the button mapping problem that just occured.

I got the same problem, i bought the Msi Claw A1M Ultra 5 on sale from proshop.

The problem started with the newest Bios, i updated it through the Msi center software.

There is no way i will perform a EC reset.
Reason!
Since i have the slowest wifi in Norway!
1. It Took me forever to download all windows update and msi updates.
2. 150Gb of game downloads took 2 days, 24/7.

Please Msi, find a fix that does not include EC reset.
And a software or better optimized fan controller, my fans idle at 4132Rpm
No matter what settings applied, exept Power saving mode, then fans auto down to 3000Rpm.

Maybe Msi afterburner works better ?

I have the same issue here... I have tried an EC reset, a full wipe/reinstallation of windows, changing firmware versions, and upgrading to the latest BIOS (E1T41IMS.10E).

The only thing that seems to consistently work is using version 1.61 of the firmware with an older version of MSI Center M. The new recent release of MSI Center M (2.0.2506.0901), does not play nicely with 1.61 as it breaks Mystic Light functionality. It does not seem to be a solution to this yet outside of RMA?

I have reached out to MSI regarding this issue and their response was "the buzzing is likely due to a firmware change in the fan curve or coil drive logic during power state transitions. You may wait for a new BIOS to be released or may consider doing an RMA service on it." This was prior to the release of the latest BIOS (E1T41IMS.10E). I was hoping the updated BIOS would fix this but it did not. My MSI Claw is relatively new to me (had it for about a month, not sure when it was manufactured) so I would be disappointed if I had to RMA it.

There is a latest firmware version 1.63, try to update it, it should work well with the latest BIOS and MSI Center M.

The weird buzzing on the left side always happens when using the firmware 1.63.

For whatever reason using the newest release of MSI Center M (2.0.2506.0901) now lists the firmware version as 1.66. This version still causes that weird buzzing on the left side when hibernating/starting up/restarting. Using firmware 1.61 instead of any of the latest releases still appears to be the only way to stop the buzzing.

Since the settings may have changed after the BIOS update, you can also try resetting the BIOS or rolling back to a previous version.

When the BIOS update changes the fan speed or power distribution settings, vibration may occur.

If the noise is coming from the left side in particular, it may be caused by the cooling fan or components near the SSD.

Try reinstalling the Center M utility and drivers provided by MSI to the latest version.

Some advanced users also adjust the CPU clock or power distribution in the hidden BIOS to alleviate vibration or heat issues.

Just bought new Claw A1M Ultra 5, made all updates (Windows, Bios, Firmware, MSI Center M) and have the same issue with left side vibrating. It's a vibration motor, not cooling fan or other components. It does it when Windows booted or when wake up from sleep.

I also have the same problem after bios update. my claw is in for repair to the right thumb stick not working properly after just over a month of use I will get in touch with the repair centre to check the rumble motors as well.

i think the problem is gone right now just update last bios

After doing the bios upgrade a few days ago on bootup on my Claw A1M the left side makes a vibrating noise on bootup all the time, and randomly on game play, warranty time? Looking for opinions on this.
I hope this Will help. Ive discovered that The issue appears when deactivate Xbox 360 controller (the one of the Claw) and then using external Xbox controller. As soon as i actívate Xbox 360 controller again The weird noise stopped. In order to play with external Xbox controller the only thing You need to do is to put claw on desk mode without deactivate the own claw controllers

Anyone know how to fix this problem? I buyed some weeks ago a MSI Claw i5 and try to wipe install Windows and MSI Center more than once, also EC Reset...but nothing works :(

Here is a video, it happens when launch the console from sleep mode
I just unpacked my Claw 7 and also got the sound from the video immediately during the first startup.
I initially thought that the fanblade is scratching the case or that something got in there. But it is the exact noise from the video. It occurs during startup as described previously. Sometimes it reoccurs a few times. It is really anoying.
Latest Firmware (1.72) and Bios are installed so it does not seem to be fixed? Did someone RMA or find another solution?

I have the same problem.
will this be fixed soon in a feature update?
I don't trust my skills enough to miss around by downgrading and there isn't a MSI service center in my country so it will be expensive to ship it

By now, I think this supposed to be a feature. They intend to give some haptic feedback upon certain events. The problem is that the vibration motor causes that noise and feels so weird.

Muchísimas gracias, pase de la versión de firmware 1.72 a 1.61 y se quito el ruido para encender, apagar, suspender e hibernar, te lo agradezco demasiado
