What does blue led light on MSI PRO DP21 12M (located beside start button) indicate?

I bought this unit for use by guests over a year ago BUT had to set it up for myself last week after a brand new MSI PRO DP21 13M MFF | 13th Gen | 32GB RAM | 1TB SSD unit I bought on Amazon overheated on day two and could not be repaired. A blue led light in it kept flashing and it lit up the entire insides. I could see it through the top and side vents. What is the light's purpose? I had not noticed its existence previously but since the other pc's spectactular failure, I'm definitely curious.

Thank you. I wonder if the led had become unfastened on the other PRO DP21. I'm still rather stunned by it's short life.
