The monitor works wonders, I just want know how exactly to clean it without damaging the coating and protective layer. Everybody says ethanol is a bad idea and to just use distilled water and a microfiber cloth woth the wax on wax off technique. The MSI Website says Ethanol 70% is the best solvent.
I was wondering how you clean your QD OLED monitors and specifically the 271QRX

Hey, any solutions?

Why on earth would you doubt what the manufacturer themselves say? Any kind of generic alcohol wipe will be absolutely fine; some isopropyl alcohol on a cloth (I have litres of 99.9% for electrical work). A slightly moist lint-free cloth would do just as well. You're not going to harm the part that's exposed to the atmosphere in all the regions of the world with it's varying heat, light and humidity with a bit of light dusting.

I certainly would avoid what "review" websites say. I've seen the "whoosh" product damage OLED panels before, even with claims of being OLED safe.
Use what MSI recommends.
