What to pack in the box when sending for RMA

I'm sending my monitor for RMA and I don't know if I should include all the cables. The power cable is probably obvious, but do I need to include the DP and HDMI cables that came with the monitor?

If it was included with the monitor then it's better to include it than hear back that you missed something.

I'll pack both cables in there. Hopefully they won't forget to return them, I've read about a similar situation before

Yeah it happens in all kinds of cases. They either tell you off for not sending something, or they forget to send it back
Double check the instructions, they probably said what to (not) include.

I was expecting that in the instructions and there was nothing there

Now I'm looking at the email with the packaging instructions again and that's advice for a PC and not a monitor

I would return the cable(s) just in case. But you can keep them and find out. If it's beyond repair they'd recycle it anyway..

So I'm going to report how the RMA went.
On April 7th I requested an RMA, on April 14th the shipping service came to pick up the monitor and today, April 30th, I was told that the monitor is beyond repair and they are refunding my money

Did they offer you a choice to replace or refund, or did they go ahead with refund straight away?

Ok fair enough, possibly they didn't have a replacement available.
