What wattage are Eclipse's fan power connectors 1 through 3 rated for?

The case selected for my pending build has 6 case fans & the Eclipse board has only 3 fan power connectors that support fan control.

Fan splitter cables enable connecting 2 fans to each board connector; you just have to be sure your fans don't exceed the connector's wattage limit.

If my signature doesn't show, the proposed PSU is EnerMax's Infiniti 720W with  30A on each of the three 12V rails. Maximum combined 12V output is 672W, 56A.

Hi piw842 & welcome to the forum! That question is best suited for the experts at MSI Tech. Support. The extent of my knowledge is V. X A. = W. As an alternative, since two fans would be controlled off one connector (at the same amount of increase/reduction of speed), would it be better to add an aftermarket fan speed controller to adjust each additional fans speed? Here is the link to MSI Support:

I would not use a splitter when connecting to the MOBO headers...not a good idea. Get a fan controller like the fanmate 2 to control fans that are not on the MOBO connectors but connected to the PSU.

Thank you for the feedback, and so quickly.

The Lian Li case has a 3 speed controller. I was hoping to automate fan control through the Eclipse board, but not after your responses. Other threads on your forum make it clear to stick to a conservative build, especially at first.

Thank you again for your help.

Max I would do is about 0.5-0.7A for each which is what most case and larger CPU cooler fans are, at least any that I've had. I wouldn't go more than 1A on any one of them.
