Where can I buy a genuine MSI battery?

I am looking for a factory battery for my GS63VR 6RF but it doesn't look like MSI sells them directly (or I can't find it). My original battery lasted for a few years and would hold ~3 hours of capacity. Unfortunately, that battery finally gave out and since then, I've had 4 replacements that are all garbage. I've tried people that claim to have genuine MSI batteries (eBay), I've tried Amazon, NewEgg, and LaptopBatteryExpress. All of them seem to use the same cheap manufacturer and their batteries only last 60-90 days before they stop holding a full charge, or give out completely.

I'm tired of taking the laptop apart to change the batteries so this time I'm looking for the original factory battery and hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Contact MSI support via email and ask for a quote.

I did, this was their response...

Sorry to hear you have this trouble with your pc we may have a option for you . Since your notebook is out of warranty, you can setup out of warranty process by contact us by phone 1-888-447-6564 Hours: Mon-Fri (6:00AM - 6:00PM PST) with valid credit card either a Visa or Mastercard when you do so. There will be a $69.00 diagnostic fee to setup the out of warranty process and once problem has been determined by our repair technicians, you will be quoted with a total of the repair charge, if you agree for the repair charge, the initial $69.00 diagnostic fee will be waived and total repair charges will be process but if you do not agree for the repair, $69.00 will be charged to your credit card and unit will be sent back to you unrepaired.

I don't need a diagnostic session, I know the battery is bad....I just need a new battery.

Did you contact MSI Support through their web ticket system?
Or you can visit their local service center to purchase a new battery.

I contacted them both ways. The only service location near me is several states away, but I did call them and email them...here is their response:

I am sorry that we do not sell any battery for our laptop.
Since the battery is the generic accessory, therefore; you may check Amazon.com or Google Search for the BTY-M6J battery for your Notebook.
Or try
cheap-laptop-batteries
laptopbatteryexpress
love-battery.com

laptopbatteryexpress
is one of the resellers I've tried and and while their customer service is fairly good (they had to send a replacement after their first battery failed after 15 days), their batteries are still the cheap after-market variety that don't last. Even the replacement failed after 3 months.

I found one for you on Amazon.
Many of customers' accessories are bought here.

Amazon is where I bought my first 2 batteries and they were garbage. I also noticed a trend on these Amazon store-fronts:
-Most of them have very mixed ratings.
-Some of the sponsored ones have no ratings at all.
-Once they start getting a certain amount of negative reviews, they simply close up and start again under a new name.
-Many of them have high "ratings" but suspiciously not many "reviews" to go along with it.
-If you download an inventory report for many of these companies, you'll see they usually sell other cheaply made products with questionable ratings/reviews.

I appreciate everyone's comments but I think this is no longer worth the effort. I'm going to start getting quotes for a laptop under bigger names where it is much easier to get upgrades & replacement parts.

It's too bad though because, other than the battery, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the laptop, and it has served me very well over the years.

So sorry to hear.
Could be that your laptop has reached the end of service, so no parts are available.
My friend had a pe60 6th Gen laptop, sent his laptop to change the screen cover, but no covers for his model were in stock, so they changed one from an identical model for him.
