Will a mini-pci-e interfere with PCIx16 speed?

Hello!

I'm willing to add a mini pci-express card to the system, in order to get an extra internal USB 3.0 slot connector.
Point is:

I'm not sure if that slot getting busy will reduce (read somewhere) with the speed of the GPU PCI-E slot when sitting the card above (since the one below looks like occupied by the GPU fan).

Slots

? 1 x PCIe 3.0 x16 slot (PCI_E2, supports x16 speed)
? 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 slot (PCI_E4, supports x4 speed)*
? 2 x PCIe 2.0 x1 slots
? 3 x PCI slots
* The PCIe x1 slots (PCI_E1, PCI_E3) will be unavailable when installing an expansion card in the PCI_E4 slot.
From this shouldn't be an issue.
I think.

By the way, I was wondering another thing:
what use can I do off PCI non-express slots? :)

Thanks everyone for clarifications

It should be no problem you plug the mini pci-express card to PCI_E4 slot.
But better try to install it and check with gpu-z if it reduce the GPU or not.

For PCI non-express slots, you can use older expansion card on them, like network cards, sound cards etc.
