Win 11 MSI GE76 Black Screen after recent KB5048685 udate

Title says most of it. I get a black screen after windows forces update KB5048685. I keep having to revert it every few days. Getting aggravating! Any suggestions on whats causing this? Graphics card has the latest update.
 
Suspend windows update, refer to the video tutorial: MSI®HOW-TO Suspend Windows Update In Windows 11 24H2
However, I also got KB5048685 without any issue on Windows 11 23H2.
Which windows version do you have? And which exact model do you have?
Maybe try to do clean installation on the graphics drivers, sometimes the latest driver might not stable.
Or connect an external monitor when you get a black screen.
 
MSI GE76 Raider Windows 23H2.
Been suspending the update constantly. Cannot seem to block it indefinitely.
Gotta be some software this model laptop came with. I am eyeing Nahimic as a possible suspect but not sure if I can uninstall that without causing more issues.

KB5048685 has been replaced by KB5050021, does the issue still exist?

Just do the metered connection option, works for me.
That should give you 3 months of peace, then most likely it will install the same, but after 3 months, MS should have fixed most of the bugs. :deadlaugh:
