That is odd. With a valid license that hasn't been revoked, it should not lose activation like this.

What was the source of your license (basically, the key)? Was it suspiciously cheap? If the license was from a dubious source, Microsoft will sometimes blacklist it later, so when the activation server is pinged after a Windows feature update, it will deactivate Windows. Then you need to enter a valid new key to get it activated properly again.

The original window is preinstalled. I tried using MSI laptop reset and window was again activated again. Then when update to 24H2 then same activation alert coming back. When i contact local MSI Support then mention something to do with MSI Control Centre need to configured but only can done by them. It does not make sense to me what MSI Control Centre got to do with window activation.

Better off giving Microsoft a call, give them the error code.

I had the same issue with my son's PC after a Windows update.
To fix the problem, I revoked the license via the terminal using the command:
slmgr /upk

I also removed any traces of the key stored in the registry:
slmgr /cpky

Since I had the Windows Professional key, I entered it (still in the command prompt) with:
slmgr /ipk YOUR-WINDOWS-KEY
slmgr /ato

Maybe this will be useful if anyone experiences the same issue.

Do not allow this illegal command.
It is a forced certificate in a hacked, non-official way.
It may cause an error in authentication because it is a free version of Windows, not a genuine one.
The solution is to purchase a genuine key.

If that doesn't work, you can tell the Microsoft Community.

It isn't a hacked command, you can do it without internet connection.
It is the way in command line to register a genuine version of Windows.
The windows professional license on my son's computer is genuine, I've purchased the key.

I misunderstood. I understand.

GO to your Windows Account online and check for registered devices, remove the notebook then retry activation

I have 6 Retail Keys for my account
As you can see, one device is listed twice If this happens, it can block you from activating your Windows Key
