WinProducer Crashes.... all the f***** time.

Alrighty..

After days of fiddling around, i managed to get my capturing to work.. However, WinProducer has got to be one of the most unstable programs i've ever seen. Here's my problem.

If I ever try to go and capture video, or create a new project, then try to export to hard disk, Win Producer crashes.. Sometimes it gives an error message, other times it just closes for no apparent reason without any messages of any kind (i go straight back to the desktop). It's annoying because I can't seem to capture the stuff I want to capture (like half hour episodes or whatnot).

I do have the patch installed, but no beef, still does it.

Anyone have any comments or suggestions? This is the only video editing software I have. :(

Thanks

Umm..

WinCoder? I assumed that WinProducer included WinCoder (as I didn't find an installation for it).

This stuff all came with my GF4 Ti4400..

If it's a seperate install, where can I get it?

stokkes,

For WinProducer to work properly it is a two part install, WinCoder/WinProducer. It should be on the CD that came with the Vid Card.

Good Luck,

Richard

Ok..

I looked everywhere, popped in both CDs, and I don't see an install for WinCoder anywhere

only WinProducer 2.0

Maybe i'm just blind?

stokkes,

I have never used an MSI video card so I cannot tell you exactly where it is. I just hear from the other members of the forum that it is on the CD.

Sorry I cannot help you more,

Richard
