Wrong chipset support for drivers?

The GF63 Thin 10SCXR has the Intel HM470 chipset. The readme.txt included in downloaded drivers (touchpad, intel rapid storage technology) on the support page dont suggest compatibility with this chipset.
Has anyone else noticed this with other products? Are the drivers safe to install?
