Can anyone help trying to install a ryzen 7 5800x into my x370 motherboard but keeps bringing on the memory diagnostic led I have purchased a basic ryzen 3 and cheap memory to update bios to install faster memory and ryzen 7 processor the motherboard now recognises later memory but not the ryzen 7 what have I not updated? Thank you in advance

What is the exact RAM kit model? Example: PVB416G320C6K. I take it you combined two such kits? Because i don't think Patriot sell matched kits of four modules.
Try with just one RAM module in slot A2.

I'm usually not fond of the Thermaltake city-series PSUs, but at least this seems to be one of the better variants of that.
What is your mysterious "M.2 storage"?
BTW, SLI is pretty much dead.

Hi sorry ram is pvs432g320c6k we have tried just one stick and just a pair but it's once the ryzen 7 is installed motherboard goes straight to ram error led and will not boot thanks for taking the time to help me with this

I have installed a ryzen 3 with a cheap stick I brought instead of patriot memory to get into bios I have updated bios which now patriot memory works with ryzen 3 but once the ryzen 7 is installed ram led is on and will not run even if I put the cheap memory stick back in with the r7 still nothing could I be missing an update for the r7?

Both the 7A33v5L4(Beta version) and 7A33v5L6(Beta version) should have full support for the 5800X. So i don't know what's wrong. Sometimes on AMD you can have a brand new CPU that has a problem, maybe that's the case here. Can you have the CPU tested, in a store nearby or something? Or at a friend's place with an AM4 board that you can update the BIOS on?
