X53 corsair 1600 ram

I have a Eclipse motherboard with i7 920 3x1gig TR3X3G1600C8D when i run it at 1600 and run the GreenPower Center II and use the power save my PC crashes
and say unrecoverable hardware error. If i run ram at 1333 the machine runs like a dream has anyone got any idears as to why this happens

Specs are as follows
i7 920 2.66mhz
3x1gig TR3X3G1600C8D
1x250 gig hdd
1x500 gig hdd
ATI HD4870
Corsair 520watts psu

DDR3-1600 CAS=8 does not exist.
Your modules are using undertimed & overvolted DDR3-1333 chips.
