Hi,

I tried new bios v22.2 for MB X58A-GD65 (MS 7522).

With this release is it no longer correctly works with Kingston DDR3 1600MHz CL9 (KHX1600C9D3K3/6GX).

With v22.1 is stable.

Have somebody same problems?

Your issue is very vague. By stating that it doesn't work anymore, in what sense does it no work now? No post, wrong speed? Please give more details on your issue.

NovJoe:

At first, sorry for my bad english.

The problem with new bios and Kingston DDR3 1600MHz CL9 (KHX1600C9D3K3/6GX) is following:

After upgrade bios from v22.1 to v22.2 is my pc very unstable (many BSOD s, resetings) if I set memory freq. to 1600MHz with CL9. I Tried set automatic detection timing with maximum voltage 1.65V.

Also I tried set timing manually.
CL 9
tRCD 9
tRP 9
tRAS 27
tRFC 88
tWR 12
tWTR 6
tRRD 6
tRTP 6

Command Rate 1T, 2T *not help
b2b cas delay from 0-11... *not help

Maximum voltage 1.65V

In diagnostic tests MemTest86+, Windows Memory Diagnostic was?nt found any problems, but after arround 10 minutes is PC automatically reset.

With this release work fine only on 1066MHz.

My PC specification:

As Svet said, flash back to the BIOS Version that worked okay for you.

Report the issue with the new version here so Technical Support knows about it: http://support.msi.com/

Not much else you can do about it at the moment.

I am quite sure the X58A-GD65 isn't a smashing success, but it's really nice to see its being updated.
Mine runs very well and generates a steady income, doubt I will update the BIOS to .2.
Thanks Though MSI
