X58 Platinum MS-7522 with Fatal1ty DDR3 PC3 10666 mem: Power Cycles Every 25 sec

Problem: Continuous power cycling every 25 seconds.

Equipment:
Mainboard: New X58 Platinum MS-7522
PSU: Silencer 610 Watt EPS12v by PC Power & Cooling (part of the OCZ Technology Group)
RAM: 4GB total on two, 2GB Fatal1ty PC3 10666 (PN OCZ3F13334GB) 9-9-9 @ 1.7v cards
CPU: Intel i7 Quad Core with stock fan
GPU: Asus EAH-4850 ATI Radeon HD with 512MB DDR3 mem.
HDD: Western Digital WD750GB (WD7500AAKS)
BIOS: Unknown at this point

When both of the 2GB DDR3 memory cards are removed the systems stops power cycling and stays running. When I put one of the two 2GB DDR3 cards into A0 it starts power cycling again. I have tried both cards separately with the same result. I do not plan to overclock the CPU and so have left the DIP switches in manufactures default positions. Do you know if the Fatal1ty DDR3 cards are incompatible with this motherboard? If not can you recommend an alternative DDR3 memory card that works with this motherboard? Or can you suggest how to get these Fatal1ty cards to work?  OR Is the DDR3 mem. even the problem?????  I am open to all suggestions.

FYI, this is the first time I have built from scratch and not real technically knowledgeable - yet.

with this being your first build , can you confirm which connections you have connected to the motherboard from the power supply ? and also make and model of power supply ?
 
What kind of PSU are you using for this configuration (Brand/model/specs)?

Please try to start the system with one memory stick in the first slot only.  Clear CMOS with main A/C power cable removed from PSU.
 
Ok.  The power supply is Silencer 610 Watt EPS12v by PC Power & Cooling (part of the OCZ Technology Group)  The box indicates it is rated at 610w continuous (670w Peak).

There are three power leads to the main board components as follows:
24 pin lead to the mainboard
8 pin lead to the CPU
6 pin lead to the GPU

If those DDR3-1333/CL9 memory sticks require 1.7-1.8V to be able to operate at their advertised specs, they most likely use overvolted/overclocked DDR2-1066 memory chips.  Please test with some "real" DDR3-1066/DDR3-1333 modules, that are made to work at the DDR3 standard voltage of 1.5V (Intel specifies that the memory voltage should never exceed 1.65V on Core i7 processors to prevent damages to the CPU).
 
Ok. Thanks for the suggestion.  I will have to order up some new DDR3s per your specs. to test.  This will take a few days.  I'll repost when I have some new results.
 
No, I can't get to the BIOS yet. For some reason the display says "No Signal".  I know the Asus GPU card is good because I tested it in another computer and it works fine.  I'm guessing that it must need other resources in order to work, probably due to the memory issue - not sure.

well i wouldnt of thought memory incompatibility would cause to have no signal on screen  :think:
 
In many cases, incompatible memory will cause a start-up failure -> nothing on the screen [system halts @memory detection and eventually reboots].
 
As we speak, components are on the way to begin building an X58. Your OCZ Fatal1ty mem. modules look to be the problem. Your fortunate these were only 1.7V, as 1.71V is supposed to be around the max limit CPU IMC can withstand without permanent damage or degradation.

You are correct in using slot #2 (AO) as per the manual for a single stick. Slot #2 (AO) & slot #4 (BO) for two sticks. When you do get your new sticks. As J.T.N. suggests, test with just one module in slot #2 (AO).

Here is a few mem. sets to maybe look over; G. Skill 2X2G PC310600 1.65V, A-Data 2X2G PC10666 (if 1.65V or less), Kingston 2X2G PC38500 1.5V, or Kingston 2X2G PC10600 1.5V.
 
We received the new memory today and it worked great.  We populated both cards straight away and immediately we were able to get to the bios.  Thanks to you Jack T. N. and all the others who chimed in with very helpful comments.  Here are the specifics:

Original RAM that did not work:      4GB total on two, 2GB Fatal1ty PC3 10666, DDR3 (PN OCZ3F13334GB) 9-9-9 @ 1.7v cards (Triple channel)
New RAM that seems to work well: 4GB total on two, 2GB G.Skill    PC3-10666, DDR3-1333 9-9-9-24 1.5v cards (Dual channel)

Apparently the DDR3 voltage was in fact the problem as the techno cognoscenti here so aptly surmised.
