I have two hard drives connected to the motherboard and already installed Vista 64. It recognizes the one drive that has the OS installed but it is not seeing the second drive. I've read about installing the Intel ICH10R drivers and enabling RAID in the BIOS (currently set to IDE) but I guess thats where I get confused. I don't need RAID, I just want to have a second drive.............................any help would be appreciated. Thanks

What is "it?"  Is "it" the bios or the operating system?   If it's Windows that doesn't see it, more precisely, Explorer, have you checked with disk management to see if the disk is initialized?
Hit the WindowsKey+R, type diskmgmt.msc, click okay or hit enter, look to see if the disk shows up there.
Also, make a complete listing of your specs

Hi SgtSOB, & welcome to the forum. Leave the bios setting at IDE. You need to get to 'Disk Management' in windows & enable your drive from there. Probably needs formatting & getting it's drive letter assigned. Also, make sure all the second drives connections are secure.
