X58 Platinum SLI will not stay shut down

I'm running Vista Home premium on an X58 Platinum SLI. When I shut the system down, the power supply switches off for about 2 seconds, then the system starts up again and reboots. Any ideas? I think I might have a thermal problem with the board, because I can switch the system off early in the morning, but after a few hours of using the system it will not stay off.

Check your BIOS settings. Sounds like AC POWER LOSS RESTART is set to on.
