I just built a computer with mostly new parts. I'm using a x58 pro-e mobo with a core i7 950 cpu and a Geforce 240 graphics card. I put 3 brand new corsair xms3 DDR3 1333 2GB RAM in there. Using a 650W almost brand new power supply that I know is good since it's out of my old computer. When I turn on the power, the fans come on on the case, and the cpu and power supply fans also come on. The LEDs all look good, with the PCIe LED blue and the power LED green. The problem is, nothing shows up on my monitor. I don't know if the problem is that the computer itself won't even boot to BIOS or if the graphics just aren't working.

Any ideas? Do you think the motherboard could be bad or something?

Any help would be great. Thanks,

What all is in your system.  Please read the >>Posting Guide<< and supply a comprehensive list of your system components--including the make and model of your PSU and how many amps are on the +12v rail(s).

Make sure you put in the 8pin(4+4) power to the JPWR1.

Hey, so I went ahead and tried it with one stick of RAM. While I was at it I reset the CMOS. One or the other did the trick, and even with all the RAM back in it works now! Maybe it was seated incorrectly? Anyway, one of those two things did the trick.

Thanks!

Glad that the system works fine now. Do monitor it for at least a week and see if there's any reoccurring issues.
