X58 pro e

I am have some concern about my latest rig. I just purchased a x58 pro e and I was give a new E5520 from a friend of mine. Been doing some reading and I was told that it would post but the bios would not be supported. Any feedback on this matter would be great.

Not much feedback possible to give at this point.  Test and see what happens. The processor is not in the official CPU Support list, so you are basically on your own here.
