Setup a X58M and 920 a couple of days ago. At post del and F1 do not work any any of the 6 usb keyboards and 4 ps2 keyboards I have around the house. I have updated to the latest bios and have cleared the cmos. The board boots into windows and runs but just wont let me get into the bios at all. If I clear the cmos it stays at the press f1 point for the next three reboots. Funny thing is in the bios list it lists keyboard is recognised and all the usb keyboards work in windows.
In the 10+ years I have been doing builds I have not seen this. I thought it may be a ground or a short issue so I removed the board from the case and put it in my test bench to no avail. If anyone has any experience with this please let me know. The ps2 could be disabled in the bios but usb works. Is it possible some combination of these settings could have been applied during testing at the factory?
