Hi, I have just built a new system with the specs as follows:

i7 920 (D0)
2x1gb Corsair XMS3 1600
GTX260
MSI 58M
power cool 650W

The system has no output, it powers on for 20 secs then reboots in a constant loop.
The gfx card works in another system.

Hi mkrh2008, & welcome to the forum. Clear CMOS (with power cord removed), use '1' stick in the black slot (A0) (second slot from CPU), disable Spread Spectrum, & then test. Usually, most compatible RAM for i7 X58 is triple channel kits. Are you sure your RAM is correct? It should have a voltage rating of 1.5 - 1.65v's.

Looking at the specs of the Powercool PSU with only 14A on +12v1 and 16A on +12v2 doesn't looks good, since the combined +12v rails will be only about 25A in total. Very weak +12v rails to me. I suggest that you try testing with a better PSU like Corsair TX 650 series and above.
