X58M & OCZ Summit 60GB WEI ratings

hello there,

i have a system as described in my signature, and i would like to know if the readings of my HD are the ones i should expect.

the WEI in Win7 shows my system to be between 7.4 and 7.6 but my ssd hdd is at 5.9.

I was wondering if that is the best i should expect from an ssd, or if there is an issue, and i should further investigate it.

You should not pay much attention to the Windows Index Ratings.

Run a real benchmark application to check: read and write rates, access time and burst speed.  Then you have a better picture to compare drives etc.

Just infering stuff from the Windows Ratings is a waste of time as they have no specific descriptional value.
