Hardware:
Processor: 7950X
Motherboard: MSI X670E Ace
GPU: EVGA 3080 TI FTW3
MEMORY: G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB Series AMD EXPO 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 (PC5 48000)
PSU: EVGA 1000W P6
Cooler: 360 Phanteks AIO MPH

After updating my BIOS today on my PC. When booting up I was getting BIOS Code A6 and the RAM light was staying Amber. This didn't occur on the previous BIOS 7D69v13. I attempted to clear CMOS but same issue. I ended up downgrading my BIOS back to 7D69v13. I opened a ticket with MSI, but just a heads up in case anyone else runs into this. Before 7D69v142 I had zero issues with RAM and bootup problems.

I also updated with a new bios yesterday,
I downgraded it because there were many errors.

Also, there is still a problem that if I change the memory clock, the window sleep mode disappears.
This issue has been raised to various forums since two months ago.

I also was having issues after I downgraded where my memory timings were jacked up. I was gaming and getting BSOD's and crashing. I had to clear CMOS after downgrading and it's been working since then. HWINFO64 showing my speed at like 2200 Mhz which it's typically around 2800-2900 with Core Isolation enabled.

Same experience here with B650 Edge Wi-Fi and bios 7E10v122, RAM performance is worse, it enables Power Down Mode by default, and when disabling it, I get memory management BSOD. Back to previous BIOS and everything works just fine (Power Down is disabled by default on previous BIOS)

I just wish MSI included tREFI option in the BIOS, but not the latest one which is really buggy and unstable.

After dropping $700 on a motherboard I’d hope they’d tested these better before releasing them. I never had this issue on way cheaper boards.

definitely makes me feel better that it isn’t just this model. How bizarre that they rushed this out when the prior bios was stable.

Yes, I confirm that it is exactly the same as on your model.
I have 2 problems, I have a debug led AB once on 2 at startup, and a memory management blue screen arrived on windows.

No problem with the previous bios 7D68v11

Are you using similar memory to mine?

Ahhh interesting. We probably have the same RAM. I’m using F5-6000J3636F16GX2-TZ5NR. You were able to get all 4 at 6000 Mhz? I only have 2X16 right now.

OK Guys can you all list the full system build and Ram model
>>Posting Guide<<
Can you also include a picture of the ram Sticker
A cpu-z Validation link would also be good to include
Like this one of my Build lots of nice info.

EDIT 2
13-Dec
to clarify
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
OK so have heard back with some info
The Sleep function not working with ram over 5600 will be fixed in a Future Bios update no ETA
PCI-E Device's missing bug is still under investigation.
Power down mode setting can be a bit flaky AMD is yet to fix this problem so please be aware of the following
This problem is Vender wide
So please check the Power-down mode setting
If Power Down mode is Disabled when XMP is off you may get BSOD so make sure if not using XMP it is set to Enabled
If XMP is set to enabled Power down should show as AUTO or Disabled to improve performance.
The Debug Code if it hangs at A6 may be bypassed by spamming the F1 key
MSI is actively running an investigation into these problems
But I will need info I can pass on to them Please provide Full system builds and Pick of Memory stickers
A CPU_Z validation Profile will also assist to some extent.

sometimes after clearing CMOS and system display the F1/F2 message, debug code stops at A6 until you press either F1 or F2. Not sure if it's just a no display case but try just pressing those key in blind.

Power down mode according to AMD Should be set to Auto so keep it at Auto, please
If Power Down is Disabled it may result in BSOD
XMP may disable Power down mode please check and set it to AUTO if it is not at AUTO
