Can Anyone recommend or know or tried if Crucial T705 SSD with heatsink can be used along with any model of RTX 4090 on X870E Carbon Wifi MBOS?

Just FYI, I'm running Crucial T705 on X870E Carbon and it gets hot. It actually gets so hot that Windows crashes and system reboots into BIOS (1A23). From there, it will not recognize the T705 in the M2_1 slot. Only after I shut down the entire system for a few minutes, will the BIOS recognize the T705 again. There's definitely something wrong with either my mobo or the BIOS. On a different machine the T705 is recognized without issue.

Crucial's T7XXs-SSDs get rather hot - have the predecessor T700 on an X670E Carbon and first thought temps were okay with a HR-10 2280 (which is passive and fits snugly underneath my NH-D14)...yeah no.
After swapping the included thermal pads with 1.0+0.5 mm (though 0.75 instead of 1.0 for the lower sitting controller would've prob even better as I had to use quite some pressure) Gelid GP-Ultimate pads (including one 0.5 mm squished between cooler and M.2-board plate now, which prior had no contact) the idle delta went from 22.2 to 17 (41 °C idle now) and a short burst load-test delta went from 50.1 to 34 (max. 77 °C down to 58 °C o_O basically). Showed me how badly the stock pads had contact or didn't transfer heat as well as the new ones.

Are you using the Heat sink supplied with the M.2.
make sure there is airflow from a fan covering the M.2 Aera of the Motherboard

Yes, I'm using the T705 heatsink on the SSD. I've applied thermal tape so that it makes good connection with the mobo. Yes, there is airflow over the T705 heatsink!
