Hey guys,
Here are two new pc builds we have at home :
PC 1) 9800x3d and MSI X870E Tomahawk, RTX 4080, Corsair Vengeance DDR5, Corsair RM750 (will be changed soon) wifi motherboard with a successful OCCT CPU + RAM 3h test and successful memtest86 4 passes test. Windows 11.
This pc is able to play games with no restrictions for hours and is stable.
PC 2) 9950x3d and MSI X870E Carbon, Corsair Vengeance DDR5, MSI 1200 Gold PSU wifi motherboard with a successful OCCT CPU + RAM 3h test and successful memtest86 4 passes test. Windows 11.
This pc is also able to play games with no restrictions for hours and is stable.
Both computers have the latest chipsets from AMD and their respective latest April (not May) bioses.
The problems :
PC 1) Occasional loss of keyboard (an old one, G110 from logitech) on boot (fixed after replugging or rebooting). Weirdness has happened rarely in windows, like a rare freeze with CPU going full speed with no reason in windows, or once the letter "Rrrrrrrrrrrr" being typed without reason in windows with only a boot to fix that.
One time, the windows search bar couldn't be used with no reason (impossible to type in it).
An occasional blue screen on boot. If that happens again I'll be sure to note the error code.
PC 2) Occasional black screen on reboot. With the 00 code and green light on the motherboard. Only and cool boot can take me out of that (seems like the pc is stuck in limbo between the BIOS and Windows).
As you see, I've already tested the hardware on both CPU's / motherboards. Can you guys give me a hint, ways to look to solve those problems ?
