X99S gaming 9 AC no capture card detected on xsplit gamecaster

I noticed that xsplit doesn't detect the on-board capture card. I checked the support site and got the drivers for it. I installed everything but still, xsplit can't detect it.

Am I missing something?

Are you referring to the 'MSI Streaming Engine' driver? Did you also install the 'XSplit Gamecaster' utility?

Check if device manager shows any yellow exclamation mark. Where do you check if it's detected in XSplit? You should select the codec like this:

Hey man, thanks for the quick response and screenshot; really appreciate it!

Yeah, I went xsplit settings and found the avermedia codec under stream settings and record settings. Is that all I need to set? I always thought it was an actual on-board capture card
