So just put together a computer.  For some reason it will freeze, typically when it is idling.  If I am gaming it doesn't happen as often.  Here's my setup...think I might need to buy another stick of RAM.

X99S SLI PLUS
i7-5820k
EVGA GeForce GTX 750ti
Kingston 120gb SSD
Western Digital 1TB harddrive
Corsair H60
EVGA Supernova G2 750W
Samsung optical drive
1xCrucial Battlestix Sport 8gb DDR4-2400
Bitfenix Comrade Case

I was checking and the website says that the RAM stick is compatible when running 2-dimm and overclocked.  I was wondering if this might be the cause of my computer freezing.

do not buy another single stick as you are asking for even more trouble!

with multiple sticks they need to be a Matched kit as the likelyhood of you getting a single stick even if the same make and model may not have the same RAM chips on the stick and its a 50/50 gamble that it will work properly as makers even week to week or batch to batch may change the chips on them depending who can supply them the amount they need so its a bad risk!

if i was you i would return that one and buy a Dual Channel kit if that is what you want as a kit is a factory matched set that work together as they are off the same run 1 after the other and the chips are the same batch!

It might do.
However sure thing is: you don't want to mix RAM (even if look same, same brand, frequencies etc). Get matched kit of 2x4/2x8 or if you want more, 4x4 or 4x8 and so on so it's all RAM sticks in one single box named as "32GB of XXX RAM (4x8)"

Are you able to test a bit stronger piece of graphics card? For some reason I think that this is not good enough.

I don't think that it is the video card.  The computer usually only freezes when it is running programs like chrome or some other application that isn't very taxing on the system.  When I am running a fullscreen game like EVE or Skyrim it does fine.  The freezing only occurs every once in a while.

That's the worst scenario when you can't "resurrect" the issue when you want.
