I have an X99s xpower ms-7881 MOBO that I just upgraded from W10 to W11. All went well, however whenever I now turn on power and boot, it always boots to the bios screen, and when I exit the bios screen windows loads and all works well. It is more of an inconvenience than anything. All else works well. I tried changing the boot in in the BIOS to both "UFEI" and "UFEI + legacy" and both had the same results. Bios is american megatronics, 1.DO, 6/20/2018... Sorry if this has been answered before, but I did not see it in the search. TIA...

Congratulations on getting windows 11 working on your computer! A two month trial. I did a web search and since your computer does boot into window 11 without any intervention from you, it could be that your bios just needs a little more time for the boot drive to be recognized. your bios may have a setting to induce a delay before executing. the web search suggested this:
Go the the boot tab of your bios, look for something like POST Delay Time, Boot Mode Select or Full Screen Logo Display and set the maximum delay.

Hmmm. I looked but could not find and delays.

It's "beta" BIOS, but this is just a name. Go for it. There won't be any official release.
It's the latest BIOS ever for this board.

Updated the bios,

Super

bios screen still show up at boot... I am stumped.

Crucial M550 1TB SATA 2.5 SSD (OS)
Four WD Red 6 TB HDD (WD60EFRX) On-Board Raid 10 (Storage)
One WD Red 6 TB HDD (WD60EFRX) (Misc. Storage)

Try leave only the HDD/SSD where the OS is located,
disconnect temporary all other storages.

Then see if can boot directly to OS without going to BIOS Setup.

Also how is your OS installed? Is it in GPT UEFI Mode or Legacy?
Adjust the "Windows 8.1/10 WHQL Support" option accordantly to your case.

Will do, what is strange is this just started happening only when I upgraded from W10 to W11... No hardware tweaks.

Is your OS Win11 installed now in UEFI Mode or Legacy?
And what's the status of "Windows 8.1/10 WHQL Support" option in BIOS?

Pretty sure his OS is installed using hardware bypass methods posted in his other thread, that is linked above.

OS is UEFI... As for windows 8.1/10 whql support, tried both ways and no difference. I also tried both uefi and uefi+legacy, and again no difference. Lastly, a mentioned by dvair, I did use a bypass method to install upgrade to w11, it was only due to processor.

Disconnected all external drives (except OS) and no effect. I also removed the TPM2.0 module and this also had no effect as well. Lastly, I booted to the original bios (have two options) and again, same result.
