XPower CPU Fan Header Current Specs?

With any bit of luck, I'll be putting together another system using the XPower X58 mobo.  One thing I'm curious about is the maximum current rating on the fan headers, specifically the CPU fan header.  The reason I ask is I've got a Thermalright Venomous X in the one XPower system with 2 120mm fans in a push/pull config with both getting power from the CPU fan header via a 4 pin Y connector (only one RPM sensor connected).  This system is working great and didn't even think about the current draw off the fans and what the CPU fan header maxes out at.  This upcoming system will have the same push/pull config so to give me some piece of mind, anybody know what the maximum current draw is on the CPU header on the XPower X58?

Thanks!

What is the current draw of the fans? It should be on the label in center of fan in amps or watts, example would be 0.750A or 750ma or 9W, all 3 equal the same power draw @12V.

The fans in my current system are 0.30A per fan.  The ones I'll be using in the upcoming system are 0.20A per fan. I know I looked in the manual for max current for the fan headers and didn't see anything which is why I came here. :)

Since this is a user to user forum (no paid or full time MSI employees here), it may be best to open a ticket with MSI Tech Support & ask the engineers direct. Doubt anybody here is going to have a clue as to the actual BB X fan header max current. :-))

Added: Many of us use only the CPU 4 pin header, but for all the other fans, run off the PSU & use aftermarket fan controllers.

If 200-300ma is all they are then both on a 'Y' connector on one header should be OK. It could be a bit more but I know they are good at least up to 1.0A = 1000ma = 12W.

Unfortunately, tech support's response was that they didn't have such information which really surprises me. I'll assume I'll be OK since the two 0.3A fans run just fine even at full speed.  So a couple 0.2A fans should be just fine.

Here's hoping I'll be sitting in some additional blue glow from another XPower's blue LEDs as the system whirs away happily tomorrow. :)
