Random blackscreens for 2-10 seconds, external display is 144 hz, Acer Nitro XV282K, connected via display port cable and dongle. I've checked connection with USB-C cable, everything works perfectly with USB-C cable, but it too short sadly. I've checked microsoft forum for solution, and looks like that black screen flickering is external monitor Hz self changing. I've changed manually from 60 to 144 Hz and vice versa and it's it - Same behaviour when it blackscreening randomly. So, there is something constantly changing my external monitors Hz rate (it still stay 144 Hz anyway). No answer found on Microsoft forum. I've seen on this forum same problem with notebooks, and their problem solved by updating MSI Center Pro. I have updated already everything (even monitor bios), and problem persists. It can happen 10 times in a row and then work fine for hours and start random flickering. Please help, I'm tired of this s*it.

Which model of laptop do you have?
Can you check without the dongle?
It is suggested to narrow down the problem. Laptop problem? Monitor problem? Cable problem? Dongle problem? Compatibility issue?

Problem solved by buying proper USB-C to USB-C active cable. (Club 3D USB 3.2 Gen2 Type C to C Active Bidirectional Cable)
