Z16 Keyboard sticking?

I haven't quite pinpointed exactly when it'll happen but always at the end of typing a sentance or something - the letter (or space bar or enter key) sticks causing like 20 characters rapidly at the end of whatever I'm typing.

I thought it was palm on the trackpad but I tested this a bit and when doing it purposefully that doesn't seem to make it happen.

Anyone else having this issue?

I have the same issue, got it new, within the first week once a while it repeats keys. (on random key)
Thought that updating the system would solve it, but no it did not. Still doing it time to time.
Is there someone that could pinpoint on how to resolve it?

Happens just on the laptop keyboard or with an external keyboard as well?
What's your laptop?

This is happening to me too. I've had this Z16 for about 3 months and it started doing it in the last month or so. Not all the time, and not always the same key. Pretty random, and very annoying.

I have the exact same problem. Now, on my second Creator Z16...
I returned the first one to the store where I bought it. I explained the problem and got another - no problem there.
Unfortunately, the second one turned out to suffer from the exact same problem as the first one.
I have had the latest released BIOS in both of them.
Has anyone here successfully managed to solve the problem?

I'm having the same exact thing. Very intermittent. I think mechanical, but it's been different keys and more than a few of them. I love this laptop, but really worried seeing the comment above from patchbay1215a002e5 stating it's happened on his second one as well.

Disregard, I was wrong. I hadn't updated the BIOS. It took me a while to figure it out, but just updated and reset the EC. I'll continue to monitor for a while and will report back after a few days once I figure out if it is resolved. So far, I haven't had any issues typing this reply, but then again, it was pretty intermittent. Thanks for the suggestion. I thought because I had updated everything through the MSI Center that it had included the BIOS update. I was wrong...

Hi I updated to BIOS 108 on my Z16P. Issue still persists. Support ticket to me to reset EC again, which I did that as well. however issue still persists. Anyone got any other ideas? It's mainly typing in the browser (Using google Chrome). I'm going to try to use Firefox at work tomorrow and see if that is any different as it does happen in Skype and Teams but more sparingly.

Edit: Not Chrome specific. Issue persists. Most noticeable if my mash the delete key, which is often as I am not the best typist. But it'll delete my entire line from the phantom presses.
