Z270 Tomahawk - CPU Update

Hi guys,
Im now in the search of a new cpu for my computer. My motherboard is the Z270 Tomahawk. I have 32gb Ram ddr4, a 1TB NVME, a Geforce GTX 1060 6GB and a i5-8400 2.8GHZ 9MB.
The ram and nvme are new, and im not looking for a new gpu. But i want to swap the cpu since i think it is the thing that its conditioning my fps (mainly on ea fc 25). Most od the games run just fine but ea fc lags a bit.
What CPU do you guys think i should get from different price ranges?
