Board: z68a-gd55 g3. Bios: AMI BIOS 25.8 2013-01-11

Here's the issue: I'm trying to fresh install Windows 10 in UEFI mode with a GPT disk.
I see no option in the bios to disable CSM or enable UEFI. I see options to boot to UEFI USB. I don't seem to have any issues doing that either.

I've tried to convert fresh install of windows install disk to GPT. Windows won't boot. Tried to then install windows on said GPT disk from install media. It refuses to.

How in the heck do I enable UEFI mode or where can I get firmware that will let me do so? I've googled as much as I can to find this and there is no straight forward answer. It looks like others have been able to do so.

Yes, on these older boards, the settings should be something like such:

Under Settings\Advanced\Windows OS Configuration -> Set Win 8.1/10 WHQL Support to [Enabled], Win7 to [Disabled]
Under Settings\Advanced\Integrated Peripherals, set SATA mode to [AHCI]
Under Settings\Boot, any Fast Boot options to [Disabled]
Under Settings\Boot\"Boot Mode Select", set [UEFI]
Under Advanced\PCIe Subsystem, set Above 4G to [Enabled]

That's how it would work on a 100-series board at least, yours is considerably older still, so you have to check what is available.
Note than Win10 support ends this October, no more security updates from then on. So it will become unsafe to use online sometime in the future.
