I cannot make THX Trustudio Pro work on my PC, tried different Realtek HD Audio drivers(from CD, MSI website and Realtek website), different THX drivers (1.03, 1,04) in multiple combinations, but still no luck.
It is my understanding that THX is a licensed software so is it possible that MSI did not update the latest BIOS with proper license?

Recommend to contact MSI Tech Support & ask them if suggestion below doesn't work for you; http://support.msi.com

THX icon should show in Sys Tray.

Look in your 'Software Application' manual that came with your mainboard. 'Audio Genie', 'Install & How To Use It', allows THX mode selection.

Ok, I contacted support and they recommended to download this version of THX [removed by admin] from their FTP. But the file is very small  and both 7zip and winrar report is as corrupt. Can somebody else confirm this? Thanks

Removed FTP link, please do not post FTP links given to you by MSI Support in this forum, they are not for public sharing.

However, I can also confirm that the archive is corrupt, please report this to MSI Support.

I did report back that the file is corrupt, but 2 days later- no response
OK, a week ago I was sent a correct link from MSI Support, but still have the same problem and they stopped responding
Is there another way to get support?

Recommend to use a utility like Driver Sweeper, get rid of anything & everything audio related & start from scratch using just the drivers & utilities off the original install disk. Audio Genie needs to be installed to enable THX mode selection.

not happy with MSI Support- they locked my issue although is unresolved
did probably 20 install/uninstalls using driver sweeper and different versions of THX and Realtek drivers- no luck, THX does not show as a device on win audio control panel, audio genie just shows what functions THX is having without being able to change them
did a test with SRS Audio Lab and it did show there even without restart and was able to pick it over Realtek.
when installed THX adds 3 startup entries: Windows Host Process C:\Windows\system32\THXCfg64.dll,RunDLLEntry THXCfg64 and Product Registration Reminder C:\Windows\UpdReg.EXE and C:\Program Files (x86)\Creative\THX TruStudio Pro\THXAudioCP\THXAudio.exe
I read somewhere else that this software needs to be registered in order to be used, but the UpdReg.EXE does nothing

It looks like I am talking to myself here...
Anyway today I found some modded Realtek drivers that allowed me to install Sound Blaster X-Fi MB2 v1.9 "A powerful audio platform equipped with cutting-edge audio technology and THX TruStudio Pro"
So I have all it's features like Crystalizer, CMSS-3D and SYM working except of course THX.
IMO this shows that this board DOES NOT support THX Trustudio as advertised or at least there is no license included in the latest 10.3 BIOS (like in the 10.2 there was no license for Lucid Virtu)
That is probably the reason MSI Support is ignoring me...
Wish somebody could prove me wrong
