Hello!

Having pretty much the same problem on cold boot as described on various topics:
MAG Z890 Tomahawk WiFi - BIOS reset if there is no power supply
MAG Z890 TOMAHAWK WIFI - Cold boot - lost settings

except there is no eSIO FW for my motherboard, tried flashing eSIO FW from z890 Tomahawk page, says "no matching model found".

Using bios ver. 7E22v1AA0 from 2026-03-25 with latest PD FW installed.

Is there any way to fix this?

Main Board: Z890 ACE
Bios Version: 7E22v1AA0 2026-03-25
Video Card/GPU, brand and exact model: MSI Suprim X 3080 Ti
PSU, brand and model: Fractal Design ION+ 860P
CPU: Core Ultra 7 270K Plus
Memory stick(s), brand and model: Acer Predator Vesta II RGB [BL.9BWWR.380] 32GB
SSD/ HDD, brand and model: Samsung 860 EVO
CPU COOLER: Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 360 Pro
Any Additional PCIe cards installed into your system?: No
OC: Doesn't matter, stock, XMP, manual OC

Hello, how are you? It's disappointing that a tablet priced at $460 doesn't have this feature to save settings. I think the company should contact them. I believe there was a program previously included with this tablet, but it was removed from the website. Therefore, it's best to contact them to find a solution or return and exchange the tablet.

for the Cold boot lost settings, did you try to check which part of the bios settings will get lost?
is it any settings or any particular group of settings??

Can you try to clear cmos for 5 min after plugging out the 24/8pin power from motherboard?
when you see the settings lost, which exact error did you see?

Have you tried to check if your battery is still ok?

Yep, that was exactly it, motherboard was missing a battery. And that tracks, cause i bought it second hand from a rather shady seller.
After connecting a new one, everything started working flawlessly.

Thank you all for the advice!
