Z97 Gaming 5 Fan Header Max Amperage

I'm working on optimizing my cooling and am considering using 2 PWM fans on a splitter (specifically Corsair SP120 High Performance, though I'd consider the QE's).  Anybody know what the max amperage is on the fan headers?

If there are not enough ports on the motherboard to connect all system fans,
try use adapters to connect a fan directly to a power supply?

MB's fan headers usually support to 1A, it should be no problem using a splitter. :smile:

If I do that then I can't control their speed.
