z97 Gaming 5 on-board line-out issue

Have an issue with the rear mobo line-out port, it crackles through my speakers constantly. Tried couple of things like re-installing drivers etc but hasn't seemed to work. Literally just built the rig so bit disheartened. Would really appreciate some help. Thanks.

have you tried a different speaker sets?
