Config:
z97 gaming 7
corsair vengeance 1.6ghz 8gb (4x2)
wd hdd
gtx 750 ti
i5 4670k

My mobo is giving me "E0" post code error, I tried clearing cmos, reseating the cpu , 1 stick of ram , still no use
what is interesting is when I looked at the JBAT pin I can see this liquid/wet spot, I did not use that area at all ( used the back clear cmos switch and not the JBAT pin to clear cmos )
it seems some sort of coating came off? could it be mobo is faulty , I did once get 72 post code which means late south bridge initialization, but now only E0 ?

also here is the picture of the socket, I have doubt whether the pins are bent but I dont seem to think so, what do you guys think? :

Hi,

The spot is quite possible to be causing an issue, but I can't say this for 100% surely.

Socket seems alright, though 2 more photos from other angle/side would be useful to see for more accurate inspection

I will try it with another power supply , ram seems unlikely unless both ram being damaged at the same time !?

Socket seems alright.
Look around the whole motherboard and see if there's no other scratches/damages or if capacitors are not moving or damaged in some way.
