z97 gaming 7 Problem with Bsod

Hi all I've checked around the web trying to find some answers to my issues.

I recently bought the current spec i've listed in my signature and for these two days I've had the computer i've experienced 6 different bsod.
Today I had two: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION 0x0000003b - ntoskrnl.exe + 14f1a0
and one: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED 0x100007e - dxgmms1.sys + 3792e

I do not have hte other 3 errors available since i reinstalled my windows 8.1 today but the three I listed did occur with around 1hour in between. I have uninstalled the Killer Ethernet software and replaced it with the version on the support site that does not include software. Other than that I have checked what drivers I can check to see if they're outdated which they aren't and have done syscheck, memory check, disk check and I'm currently out of ideas. I've also switched places on the RAM from 2-4 to 1-3 just to see if there will be any difference. Anyway all help is appreciated and if it's required I can try and provide some screenshots or copy info from logs.

the main suspect is the drivers for this VGA: Msi GTX 750Ti Gaming 2gb <--- that error (SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION 0x0000003b) of yours is often caused by the driver passing off bad data to your nto file system so depending on what drivers you have either update them if there older then available or downgrade to a slightly older one to see if that has the same error rate!

also the other error (SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED 0x100007e) is graphics driver caused usually so both are pointing at your Graphics drivers being a issue here.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did have the newest updated drivers for my VGA and have now downgraded to the previous version. I forgot to add that the bsod have occured when I'm either playing some game or have a youtube video running. I will try the older drivers out and reply again if another bsod occur. Thanks

well both errors are your Graphics drivers offloading Errors into the data pool on your OS so its worth a try with older drivers just to see if it is them!

if it keeps happening then it may be something else (maybe you have overclocked the graphics card?)!

I have not made any overclocking myself ever to be honest. I do know that the motherboard itself comes with some form of overclocking but I guess that only applies to the cpu and ram.

Update had another bsod right now: KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE 0x00000139
It had the same adress as the 0x0000003b = ntoskrnl.exe + 14f1a0.

what is the BSOD error code(s)?

if you remove the suspected [VGA: Msi GeForce GTX 750Ti Gaming 2gb]
and use integrated one Intel? HD Graphics 4600
do you still have such issues?

I haven't experienced any more bsod that resemble the previous written ones after i downgraded the vga drivers but I did a sfc /scannow and found a error and the repair was interrupted by a bsod from Norton which I uninstalled a couple of hours ago. I have been able to do some gaming and such without any more problems other than loosing network connection and such which forced me to restart to get them working again. I will however call the support since the computer is only 3 days old now and have experienced a total of 8 or 9 bsod since.. The vga itself is around a 6months old and I haven't experienced any problems before I bought the new setup I have listed in my signature so I'm starting to wonder if I got a defect motherboard from the retailer or maybe it's the ssd that's the problem.
