I just finished building a new PC installed windows 8.1, some games, and other applications. Everything seems to be working fine but I haven't performed any benchmarks or tests yet on the processor(i7-4790k), so I can say for sure that its performing as intended.
I have ZERO errors and everything is recognized in device manager
But in the windows action center icon its showing I have an error, when I open action center it says
"Install your chipset driver
a driver for your chipset is available online"
when I click on View Message Details it provides a link to:
Intel? Smart Connect Technology
I installed that and reset the computer but still get the same message in action center
I used MSI live update after installing windows and updating all the drivers using live update (except norton internet security) is showing version 10.0.20 for the intel chipset driver.
I do have comodo firewall installed, but I did that after installing all MSI software and drivers.
Can you tell me if I am missing something, or is it safe to just turn off that message in action center?
thanks
