I have MSI P965 NEO ... sorry but you getting bored of write about this...but like other people that i know, whit Speedfan 4.32Beta .... and the only thing we can do is to read rpm and not controll fan.

. I got my speedfan to control fan speed, using core1 and core2 temperatures for controlling. Fan obviously speeds up (with speedfan's % values when i run e.g pifast), changing fan speed % setting manually causes fan to change speed, or at least so my eyes and ears seems to note it.
If you want instructions for setupping, I have to admit that this is actually first time I'm able do it with my mobo, so I just followed the pictures found from SpeedFan help/quide. Only reason I'm running with stock cooler is that I have been too lazy to get new hoses for my watercooler.
When I installed SpeedFan I first got to see FAN speed for a short while. While setting up speedfan's settings for fancontrol the FAN speed value dropped to 0. After that it has been dead except for once it worked for like 5 seconds or so.
My version seems to be SpeedFan 4.32 Beta 8. I'm currently running BIOS 1.6B13 on WinXP sp2, with some drivers which version number I dunno. Old Bios because I haven't had time and/or interest to flash 1.6B15 as I should again debug with my 3 SCSI cards and write more $hit to support, which cant help me I'm afraid.
Seems to work, when I drop core target temperature below idle temps, the Fan slowly speeds to 100%, and back to 25% when I put it back to normal threshold.
Wonder if theres sum tool for Windows to take live screen capture video to prove it
I'll try to remember tomorrow to check the forums.
