thanks for your reply. I have seen the password but the download or extract doesnt give me the option to insert a pasword. it only says error and "nopassword specified"    rar files are supported but something went wrong.

EDIT i changed my rar extratc psoftware from 9zip to winzip and this solved the problem

It's for opening/extracting, no problem with 7-zip, what software are you using to extract?

I tried to create a bootable USB to downgrade my BIOS, but I am getting BSOD on both machines that I tried using two different flash drives.
I installed net framework 2 and 3 after the first BSOD and the next time it did some additional tasks before crashing again. Problem occurs while creating the image.

Any idea what critical piece of software is missing ? I'm using Win 10, fully updated.

OK, I made that work. Created the flash , booted into it ... performed the procedure. It said that update is complete , rebooted ... and nothing had actually changed. I have read that I may have to make sure that the bios is not "protected" or something, but I don't really see such option in the BIOS.

Its a MSI Click BIOS (the grey version). E7B85AMS.1B0

The bios in the flash that I wanted to put there is a E7B85AMS.140

Can you help me get there? What exactly do I need to change in the BIOS so that flash works?

@cryptomadness1948
What mainboard you have?
and which mode and which file you used to prepare the USB key with the tool?

Hi guys!
I'm new on this forum and I have to update my  msi z77-a g43 bios for the reason that  it won't boot with  a new vga  rx580, and here I understood this is the solution.
Please tell me , the link of this USB tool from  the first page of this thread is up to date ,or I should look for a new version in the thread?
Thanks and  happy holidays !

yes, you can
but you already run msi updater so its too late that..
you currently stuck in there.

you need another solution with other tool B2MB
but you already figured: :)
