  • A bit of a know-it-all

I not sure I'd even call this a bug as much as an odd behavior I can live with. I first noticed this when I updated the BIOS and needed to cycle power, and then yesterday when there was a brief power interruption of a few seconds. The system becomes totally unresponsive and won't boot or even POST - nothing. All it takes to bring it to life is to fully disconnect it from power for about 20 seconds, and it will be happy again. Pulling the power plug from the wall is not good enough. There is enough stored energy in the power supply to keep it going for a while, so you need to pull the power plug from the back of the main unit. Sure, in a way, this is a hardware bug. It should not need to be fully powered down like this to boot back up, but it is quite liveable as long as you know about it.

Bye.    8-))

I have reported this odd behavior to MSI with a rather long winded report they might find useful.
