Got a flash drive prepared for this, but I found newer versions of the program here:  http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=120444

i tought it was worthy to mention that you must delete all partitions before you install windows, otherwise it will fail to start due to some "hal" crap problem

Its a RAR file. If you don't have WinRAR already, install 7-zip: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Can anyone give a step by step guide for using winSetupFromUSB in
I'm getting really annoyed that I got a MSI Wind.nrg file with my MSI purchase but its impossible to find any instructions on how to use it.

Thank you

Look here: http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/120444-how-to-install-windows-from-usb-winsetupfromusb-with-gui/

Its really a very easy program to use, but you need a genuine Windows XP disc from somewhere.

I seem to be able to get this to begin working but when selecting a drive in the initial text mode it will only allow me to select the respective usb removable drive that I formatted and placed the files on. None of the other hdd's (2 internal) are listed.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
