NF980-G65 USA Market ETA [SOLVED]
« on: 13-September-09, 10:57:55 »

Was wondering when this board will be available in the United States, this looks like a very good board, Nvidia 980a chipset, DDR3 and 3x PCI-E 16x. So when is it due or was it pulled from manufacturing?

We don't know, you'd need to ask MSI USA.

After being on hold with MSI - USA for way too long, I thought I'd check one more time on Newegg, and viola, answered!

If you use all 3 slots for triple SLI, you will get 16x, 8x, 8x.

I know that, I simply stated that there were 3x 16x PCI-E slots, not that you could run all 3 together in SLI at 16x.

I was simply making a statement and clarifying for anyone who read the post--I wasn't stomping on your statement.   I hope you can use it as x16/0x/x16x(slots 2 and 6) for vid cards with very large heatsinks in 2xSLI.  The specification's page only states 16x/16x/0x or, if using 3, 16x/8x/8x.
