P55-GD80 AHCI readings
« on: 06-February-10, 19:19:06 »

So I'm back to having I/O problems again (bout ready to RMA and/or buy a new mobo at this point) and while looking through the BIOS settings, in the AHCI settings, when I go in and look at the drives, for the size all of the drives will say "2793 T" (it's right justified), but in IDE mode, when I check the drives there they will show up as their proper "1 TB" or "750 GB" sizes.  Is that something normal in AHCI mode or another example of it having issues?  Here's pics of 3 drives and the 4th pic is one of the 1TB drives when in IDE mode.  You'll see they'll have slightly different sizes showing, and one of them is a 160GB SDD.
